NEWS 8/8/05

The final exam will take place on Tuesday 8/9/05 from 1-2pm in the organic lab. It will cover labs 1-8 (not lab 9 or UV, which will be done right after the exam). For IR you should know just the common bands: alkane C-H, alkene C-H, O-H, N-H, C=O, and perhaps C=C. There is a practice exam with answer key.
I have also put up three now six NMR spectral problems (with answers) for you to practice on. Basic answers for D, E, F are now up.

The lab sheets are now available.

The NMR handout is available, along with an answer key for the problems, in the "Handouts" section.
